CARA AVOCATS assisted the target (Somos Semiconductor) for all tax matters linked to the acquisition by ST Microelectronics. Their primary objective was to ensure the revenues retrieved as part of the sales of intangible assets would not jeopardize the application of the favorable French tax regimes in place and which constitute a critical aspect of the entire financial strategy pursued by the company.
