P Diddy Accused of Rape in 'Laced Drink' Lawsuit

Thalia Graves, a 53-year-old woman has initiated a federal lawsuit asserting that Sean “Diddy” Combs had her restrained while unclothed and “brutally assaulted” her at his Bad Boy Records studio in New York City during the summer of 2001.

In the legal complaint, Thalia Graves contends that at the age of 25, while in a relationship with one of Combs’s employees, she was enticed to attend a meeting with Combs and his bodyguard, Joseph “Big Joe” Sherman, under the pretense of discussing her boyfriend’s job.

She claims that during the car ride, she was offered a drink that was likely tampered with, resulting in a temporary loss of consciousness, as detailed in the 26-page lawsuit submitted to the federal court in Manhattan. Graves alleges that Combs and Sherman collected her from her mother’s residence in Queens, stating their intention to discuss her boyfriend’s position at Bad Boy. She asserts that Combs provided her with a glass of wine in the vehicle, which left her feeling physically incapacitated and unable to exit the car. Subsequently, she claims that Combs led her into his private quarters at the Bad Boy studio, where she lost consciousness.

When she woke up, Thalia claims she found herself unclothed with her hands bound behind her, prompting her to cry out for assistance. She asserts that Sean Combs "P Diddy" sexually assaulted and raped her on multiple occasions.

The lawsuit indicates that "both men were unperturbed by the Plaintiff’s pleas for help throughout the ordeal." Thalia contends that she has not fully recovered from the traumatic experience, requiring extensive psychological treatment, and continues to endure significant depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. She refrained from reporting the incident due to fear, as Combs and Sherman allegedly "repeatedly and explicitly threatened" to destroy her life. She revealed that she contemplated suicide upon discovering around November 27, 2023, that Combs and Sherman had recorded the assault and shared the footage with several men.

Thalia, accompanied by her attorney Gloria Allred, publicly announced the lawsuit against Combs and Sherman during a press conference at Allred’s office. Dressed in a white jacket, Thalia sat beside Allred and emotionally recounted the trauma she claims was inflicted upon her by Combs and Sherman. "The violations I endured during the assault have resulted in enduring effects on my body, leading to ongoing health issues and complications.

" Thalia stated during the press conference with her attorney, Gloria Allred, present on September 24. "I wish to continue on this path toward recovery and healing. While I am relieved that he is incarcerated, it is merely a temporary sense of relief."
