Arrest has been made in connection with a deadly hit-and-run incident in Sacramento County.
A man was arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run car crash that killed one person and left several others injured in Sacramento County.
Around 9:15 on Friday, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire responded to reports of a car crash near Borderlands Drive and Douglas Road in Rancho Cordova. Four people, including two children, were injured. One adult victim was reported to be in critical condition but was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reported that the collision was a hit-and-run incident and the driver responsible was under the influence of alcohol. On Saturday, a 33-year-old suspect, whose identification is pending verification, was arrested in connection to DUI and other related charges. He was booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
