Court Orders Co-Parenting Counseling for RHOC's Jennifer Pedranti and Ex-Husband Following Allegations.

A judge has recently ruled that Jennifer Pedranti, 47, from Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) and her ex-husband, William Pedranti, 52, must attend co-parenting counseling following a series of allegations and disputes. The couple, who divorced in 2021 after 19 years of marriage, has four children together: Dawson, Greyson, Everleigh, and Dominic.

Court Proceedings and Allegations

The legal battle between Jennifer and William escalated after William accused Jennifer of making false statements about him on RHOC and visiting his home without permission. On November 5, the couple appeared before a judge at the Orange County Superior Court, where several issues were discussed. However, the judge did not rule on William's request to lower his child and spousal support payments, nor did they address Jennifer’s inquiry into William’s financial situation, which is set for January.

A significant court update was made to their divorce agreement, including a clause that prohibits either party from making negative comments about the other in front of their children. This change comes after William claimed Jennifer had disparaged him on RHOC and in interviews.

Co-Parenting Counseling Mandate

In addition to the financial disputes, the judge has mandated that Jennifer and William attend co-parenting counseling. Both parents are required to complete at least six sessions, with the possibility of more if necessary. This counseling aims to help them effectively manage their co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children.

Financial and Support Disputes

The couple reached a custody settlement in June 2024, agreeing to shared custody. William currently pays $1,735 in spousal support and $4,674 in child support each month. However, William has asked the court to end the spousal support, arguing that Jennifer is living with her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, and no longer needs the financial assistance. He also stated that his income has significantly decreased since the original support order.

Jennifer, on the other hand, maintains that she has "limited assets" and relies on spousal support to raise their children. She contested William’s request, pointing out that her cohabitation with Ryan was a result of financial difficulties caused by William’s failure to fulfill a divorce settlement. She argues that ending her spousal support would be unjust given the circumstances.

“I believe it is unfair to terminate spousal support because I am cohabitating with Ryan. The ONLY reason I am cohabitating with Ryan is because William left me with no other option.” Jennifer also claimed that William did not pay her the six-figure amount that was due as part of their divorce settlement.

“Had I received my half portion of the proceeds when William received it (which he should have done), I would have had the ability to pay my lease, and I would not have been evicted. Or, I would have had the means to secure my own place without Ryan. It would not be equitable for the court to consider my cohabitation with Ryan as a basis to end my support when William’s bad conduct forced me to do so. Furthermore, William was also aware at the time we entered the Judgment that I was cohabitating with Ryan. Therefore, it is not a change of circumstance warranting consideration to terminate spousal support.”

“Please also note William has not responded to one of my several messages. If William would communicate with me, I would not need to go to his house or try to communicate with him live,” Jennifer said.

Allegations of Harassment

A major point of contention between the ex-couple is William’s claim of harassment. He alleges that Jennifer visited his home in August 2024 without invitation and that her actions violated their divorce agreement, which prohibited negative comments. William expressed that Jennifer’s remarks on RHOC and in interviews had negatively impacted his reputation, forcing him to explain the situation to their children.

In response, Jennifer denied the harassment allegations, claiming that William had not been responsive to her attempts to communicate. She stated that she visited his home because he had not returned her messages and that she would not have taken such actions if he had communicated with her directly.
