In a heart-wrenching accident, Mary Blasetti, a 32-year-old mother of a newborn, lost her life after a golf cart incident in Annapolis, Maryland. Just two days before her passing, Blasetti was thrown from the vehicle, sustaining life-threatening injuries, the Anne Arundel County Police confirmed.

On Saturday, November 9, around 7:24 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Maid Marion Hill after a report of an injured person. Initial investigations revealed Blasetti was a passenger in an E-Z-GO golf cart when the vehicle hit a dip, causing her to be ejected. Blasetti was then airlifted to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where she succumbed to her injuries on November 11.
“This is an extremely tragic, unfortunate situation," Anne Arundel County Police’s Justin Mulcahy shared. "Our hearts go out to everyone impacted, and we're going to continue investigating with the State's Attorney’s Office just to determine what exactly happened here."
