Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Georgia Home Faces Foreclosure and Auction.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Georgia home, located in Alpharetta, is facing foreclosure and is scheduled for auction. The couple, former stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, had defaulted on a $1.65 million loan taken for the property back in 2012, which led to the property being listed for auction in February 2023. However, a source close to them claimed that the couple took action to resolve the matter at that time.
Kim & Kroy’s Georgia Home
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Georgia home in Alpharetta is facing foreclosure and will be auctioned on December 3, 2024, after being on the market for over a year. The property, which is scheduled to be auctioned by Truist Bank outside the Fulton County Courthouse, is the result of the couple’s financial difficulties. Zolciak and Biermann initially defaulted on a $1.65 million loan in 2012, and despite taking steps to resolve the issue, the auction remains set due to Zolciak's refusal to accept offers below $3.85 million. The home, listed for $6 million in October 2023, has had several price reductions, now down to $3.7 million.
The auction will take place outside the Fulton County Courthouse. The auction notice indicated that the sale would occur during the legal hours of sale, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time.

The couple had listed their residence for sale in 2023 for $6 million, following Biermann's second divorce filing from Zolciak. The price was reduced multiple times, dropping to $3.7 million in November 2024. The home, which spans 1.78 acres of land, boasts luxurious features such as seven bedrooms, a six-car garage, a private wine cellar, a home theater, a billiard room, a gym, and a heated swimming pool.
Kroy Biermann has made allegations regarding Zolciak's financial management, accusing her of frivolous spending. Biermann sought court intervention to facilitate the sale of the house at a price he deemed fair and to limit Zolciak's decision-making authority in the matter. Zolciak, on the other hand, reportedly refused to accept offers for less than $3.85 million, worried that selling below that price would leave her without enough funds to buy a home of her own. The couple has three children together, and their financial troubles, particularly regarding their home, are now a matter of public record.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann first tied the knot on November 11, 2011, in a lavish ceremony that was televised on the reality show Don’t Be Tardy, which aired on Bravo. The couple had four children together, with Kroy adopting Kim's two daughters from a previous relationship. Their relationship was a focal point of the show, and they were often seen as a loving family in the public eye.
However, their marriage faced numerous challenges over the years, including financial difficulties and public disagreements. In April 2023, Kim initially filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce filing was later dismissed after the couple attempted to reconcile, but by August 2023, Kim filed for divorce again, this time for good. The divorce came after growing tensions and reports of financial struggles, particularly regarding their Georgia mansion, which has faced foreclosure.

Their divorce has been contentious, with Kroy accusing Kim of "frivolous spending" and neglecting their financial situation. The couple's property has also been listed for auction, and legal battles over their home continue as they seek to resolve their differences. The ongoing divorce proceedings are complicated by the fact that both parties are dealing with the financial fallout from the foreclosure, as well as their strained relationship.
