It felt right to move on after Kody and I ended our marriage instead of staying in Flagstaff.” Kody, 55, and Meri announced their separation after 32 years together in January 2023 through a joint statement. “We feel it’s important to share our truth in our own way and at our own pace,” the former couple wrote on Instagram on January 10, 2023. “After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our unique ways, we have decided to permanently end our marriage.”
Since then, Meri has been focused on developing her motivational brand, Worthy Up. “It’s a community for people who want to remember their worth. It’s crucial to recognize who we are and what we deserve,” she explained, describing it as a “glow up for the insides.” Reflecting on her personal growth, the TLC star said, “It wasn’t just one moment; it was a process for me. I went through a really tough time and worked hard to turn things around. I attended therapy, read books, and journaled—everything that promotes growth. It’s definitely been a journey, and I’m still on it.”
Meri is completely open to dating again, despite her previous relationship with Amos Andrews not working out. They started dating in October 2023 but ended things in February.

When it comes to her ideal partner, Meri expressed that she desires someone who is very self-assured, successful, and clear about his desires. She wants someone who can support her endeavors and matches her energy, without being intimidated by her personality or achievements. Meri also mentioned that she isn't particularly close with her sister wives, Christine Brown and Janelle Brown, who have both separated from Kody.
Christine was the first to leave in November 2021, followed by Janelle in December 2022. Despite their differences, Meri emphasized the importance of kindness due to their shared history and children. She believes they will always maintain a cordial relationship, even if their lives are no longer aligned.
