Brittany Mahomes has called out Buffalo Bills fans after a disturbing taunt aimed at her husband, Patrick, following a Kansas City Chiefs victory. The mother-of-three shared her thoughts on social media, condemning the incident and offering a plea for improvement.
On Sunday, as the Chiefs secured their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, Brittany took to her Instagram Stories to express both joy and frustration. Among the celebratory posts, she shared a disturbing image from a previous Chiefs-Bills match in November. The photo, taken at a tailgate in Buffalo, showed a Kermit the Frog puppet hanging by a crane, wearing a Mahomes No. 15 jersey and sporting a curly hairdo reminiscent of Patrick. The mockery appeared to reference the frequent comparison of the Chiefs quarterback’s voice to that of the beloved Muppet.
Brittany didn’t hold back, captioning the image: “Do we remember this Buffalo? Absolutely disgusting…So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people.” Her message was a clear rebuke of the cruel stunt, which she felt was entirely inappropriate.
In a separate post, Brittany expressed her gratitude for those concerned about Patrick’s wellbeing throughout the season. “Thank you all for your concerns with 15 this season,” she wrote. “See y’all in New Orleans.”
As for Patrick, he seemed unbothered by the taunt. After the game, the 29-year-old quarterback took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a classic meme featuring a relaxed Kermit sipping tea, signalling he wasn’t fazed by the mockery.

This isn’t the first time Brittany has taken aim at opposing fans. After the Chiefs triumphed over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship last year, she posted a celebratory photo of herself and Patrick on her Instagram Stories. Captioning the image with, “We went there. We won. Anyone have anything else to say?,” along with a smiling emoji, she added, “See y’all in Vegas.”
Brittany’s fiery response serves as yet another reminder that, while Patrick Mahomes may be used to the pressure of NFL competition, his family isn’t afraid to speak up when it comes to defending him.
