The Creditors Adjustment Bureau, Inc., a debt collection agency, has filed court documents seeking $228,000 from Aaron and his wellness business, Quantum Epigenetics Consulting LLC. The agency claims that Denise should be held accountable for the debt due to their community property status.

The Creditors Adjustment Bureau is seeking $228,000 from Aaron and his wellness business, Quantum Epigenetics Consulting LLC, and has requested that Denise be held accountable for the debt. As their financial troubles grow, the couple also faces a separate lawsuit over Aaron’s stem cell treatment business.
A representative from Creditors Adjustment Bureau stated, “Denise Richards is currently, and was at the time the debt was incurred, the spouse of Defendant and Judgment Debtor Aaron William Cameron Phypers, also known as Aaron Phypers or Aaron W. Phypers, and is accountable for the community property debts.”
The agency has requested that the court issue an order to “attach the wage earnings and other assets belonging to Denise Richards.” As of now, neither Aaron nor Denise has responded to the court's request.
The Origin of the Legal Dispute
This situation began in 2022 when creditors filed a lawsuit against Aaron and his wellness business over an unpaid $190,000 business loan. Aaron had agreed to pay $11,000 in interest on the loan, but he was unable to repay it due to the pandemic's impact on his business. His lawyer argued, “Those events could be neither anticipated nor controlled, and the effects were beyond the control of the parties and imposed an extreme hardship, expense or difficulty rendering performance impossible.”

Aaron sought more time to stabilize his business before making further payments. A settlement was eventually reached, with Aaron agreeing to pay $186,412 through a payment plan, which started in October 2023 and was set to conclude by February 2025. However, after paying $40,000, Aaron failed to uphold the agreement in February 2024. Consequently, the Creditors Adjustment Bureau returned to court and secured a judgment of $228,000 against Aaron.
The Legal Implications for Denise
Now, the collection agency is targeting Denise Richards' earnings in an attempt to recover the owed amount. While Denise was not named in the initial lawsuit and there is no indication she was involved in the loan, the agency is seeking to hold her accountable for the debt under community property laws.

In a separate legal matter, Aaron Phypers is also facing a lawsuit from Rupert Perry, a widower who accuses Aaron of fraud and breach of contract related to a stem cell treatment provided to his late wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall. Rupert claims that Aaron persuaded Elina to undergo the treatment for her sarcoma cancer, promising a 98% success rate. Elina paid $126,000 for the treatment, which allegedly did not work. Despite her request for a refund, Aaron allegedly ignored her attempts to communicate.
Rupert is seeking unspecified damages, including punitive damages. A source close to Aaron denied the allegations, explaining that Aaron believes the treatment provider, not him, is responsible for the refund. The source clarified that Aaron had been trying to contact the CEO of the treatment provider to assist Rupert in obtaining a partial refund.
