Lily Allen recently discussed her mental health struggles amidst speculation about her separation from David Harbour, her husband of four years. On the January 9 Miss Me? podcast, Lily revealed how she has been spiraling emotionally and finds it hard to focus due to the pain she is enduring. Lily also announced her hiatus from the Miss Me? show to focus on recovery.

Lily Allen is candidly discussing a challenging period in her life. In light of speculation regarding her separation from husband David Harbour after four years of marriage, she revealed that she is not feeling her best overall.

“I’m finding it really hard to be interested in anything,” Lily explained to her cohost Miquita Oliver on the Jan. 9 episode of the Miss Me? podcast. “I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiraling and spiraling and it’s got out of control. I can’t concentrate on anything except the pain that I’m going through,” she continued. It’s really hard.”

Lily acknowledged her efforts to keep up social connections, yet she often leaves gatherings prematurely due to panic attacks or fatigue. he situation has become so challenging that Lily has decided to take a break to recover, announcing her hiatus from the Miss Me? show.

“What I do want to reassure people because there will be speculation because of the amount of time that I’m going to be taking away that I’m going to drug rehab—I’m not,” she added. “I’ve not relapsed. I know there have been some horrible blind items on the internet about me being found by my husband in a crack den being surrounded by men. I don’t know who’s spreading these vicious rumors but that’s not true.”

Lily may not be dealing with substance abuse, but she is certainly facing a tough challenge. Just last month, she opened up about how her mental health is starting to impact her eating habits.

“I'm not at a great place mentally,” she shared on another episode of her podcast in December. “I’m not eating, but I'm not hungry. I obviously am hungry, but my body and my brain are so disconnected from each other that my body, the messages of hunger, are not going from my body to my brain.”

The 39-year-old, who has two daughters, Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11, with her former husband Sam Cooper, explained that her challenges with eating are not about steering clear of food, but instead about having a diminished appetite. She expressed it this way: “My body is a few steps behind me.”
