Rosewood Hotels appoints ex-Kempinski GC as VP for Legal.

Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Hadrian Beltrametti Walker, the former general counsel at Kempinski Hotels, as its new vice president for legal in the EMEA and Caribbean regions.

Based in Amsterdam, Beltrametti Walker began his role in December, where he will oversee a range of legal matters, with a particular focus on hotel development. He will report directly to Agnes Park, Rosewood's general counsel, who is based in Los Angeles. Park is a former private equity lawyer with Katten Muchin Rosenman.

Beltrametti Walker brings with him 12 years of experience at Kempinski in Switzerland, where he held various legal positions before becoming the general counsel in 2021. He also led the company’s sustainability committee. He left Kempinski in June last year. Prior to his tenure at Kempinski, he worked as a lawyer for Hilton Worldwide in the UK.

Commenting on his new role at Rosewood, Beltrametti Walker expressed his attraction to the company due to its strong commitment to sustainability. "I’m passionate about advancing change in this area," he said.

He is actively involved in the Energy & Environment Alliance (EEA), where he serves on the legal committee. The EEA is a global coalition of hospitality and lodging advocates focused on helping businesses in the sector transition to net-zero carbon and adopt robust ESG practices in a sustainable and commercially viable way.

In addition to his work with the EEA, Beltrametti Walker is an advisory board member of the Luxury Law Alliance. He also serves as an honorary course director at Academia Cerebra and guest lectures at both Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and American University School of Law in Washington, D.C.

Rosewood Hotel Group is a global leader in luxury lifestyle and hospitality management. The company owns and operates four brands: the ultra-luxury Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the upper-upscale New World Hotels & Resorts, the integrated wellbeing brand Asaya, and the modern private members’ club Carlyle & Co. Rosewood's portfolio includes 48 hotels across 23 countries, with over 38 new properties currently under development.
