Dentons Appoints Carly Sainty as Global Chief Brand Officer and Norman Hatting as Global Chief People Officer

Dentons, the largest global law firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carly Sainty as Global Chief Brand Officer and Norman Hatting as Global Chief People Officer. These appointments reflect the Firm’s commitment to leadership excellence and its ongoing growth strategy.

Carly Sainty, with more than 25 years of experience at Dentons (formerly Denton Wilde Sapte), brings invaluable expertise to her new role as Global Chief Brand Officer. Throughout her tenure, Carly has played an instrumental role in managing brand initiatives across more than 40 law firm mergers. Her deep understanding of diverse markets and cultures will be pivotal in continuing to drive Dentons’ global brand strategy. Prior to joining Dentons, Carly led events and hospitality at Lloyd’s of London, further enriching her comprehensive skill set.

In his new role as Global Chief People Officer, Norman Hatting will focus on advancing Dentons' talent strategy. Norman joined the Firm in July 2022 as Global Talent Advisory Director and has led key projects aimed at enhancing Dentons’ talent infrastructure to align with the firm’s evolving business needs. His previous experience at Deloitte, where he spent 13 years and most recently served as the Human Resources Business Partner Leader for Deloitte Africa, has provided him with extensive knowledge in implementing talent strategies that support organisational growth.

These strategic appointments underscore Dentons’ continued focus on strengthening its leadership capabilities and positioning the Firm for long-term success.
