Former Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Champion Kadarius Toney Arrested, Accused of Strangling Woman.
Kadarius Toney, a former Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl champion, was arrested last week on charges of aggravated assault in connection to an alleged incident involving a woman in Georgia.
The 26-year-old wide receiver, who most recently played for the Cleveland Browns, is accused of strangling the woman with enough force to "leave red marks on her neck and cause petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes," according to an arrest warrant.

Additionally, another warrant alleges that Toney obstructed the woman's attempt to call for help. He is accused of "taking her phone away when she attempted to call 911" and "canceling voice commands for the phone to call 911 while physically assaulting her."
The incident is reported to have occurred on January 14 at Toney's residence in Douglasville, Georgia, with the arrest warrants being issued the following day.
Toney was arrested on February 6, according to Douglas County jail records. His bond was set at $25,000 for each charge, and he was released from custody by February 7.

Throughout his career, Toney has won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs, in 2023 and 2024. He briefly played with the Cleveland Browns in the 2024 season after previously playing for the New York Giants before being traded to the Chiefs in 2022.
Toney has not yet commented on the charges.
