Jen Shah Wishes Husband Sharrieff Happy Birthday from Prison
This tribute to her husband comes shortly after her sentence was reduced for the fourth time, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate database. Jen’s new release date is set for October 4, 2026, after initially being sentenced to a longer term.
Jen's sentence had been reduced for the third time, with her release date previously set for November 3, 2026. Shah was arrested in March 2021, alongside her assistant Stuart Smith, for their involvement in a long-running telemarketing scheme. Initially, both Shah and Smith pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.
On January 6, 2023, Shah received a 6.5-year prison sentence. Following her conviction, she expressed remorse for her actions. Jen began serving her sentence on February 17, 2023, and by March 2023, her sentence was reduced by one year, bringing her release date to August 30, 2028. At the time, a representative for Shah said that she was “doing well” and remains “committed to making her victims whole.”
“She has started her payments towards restitution,” the rep added, “and we hope to have her home soon so she can get back to her family and work, putting this chapter behind her.”
