Nokia names Justin Hotard as its new CEO.
Nokia announced on Monday that its current CEO, Pekka Lundmark, will be stepping down, with Justin Hotard set to take over the role. Hotard, who is currently leading the Data Center & AI Group at Intel, will officially take up his new position on April 1.
Sari Baldauf, Nokia's Chair, expressed confidence in Hotard’s abilities, stating, “He has a strong track record of accelerating growth in technology companies along with vast expertise in AI and data center markets, which are critical areas for Nokia’s future growth."
This leadership transition signals a new chapter for Nokia as it focuses on growth opportunities in key technology sectors, particularly artificial intelligence and data centers.
