Rose Schlossberg (Kennedy heiress) has unsettling response when asked about her brother Jack as she enjoys spa day with wife Rory McAuliffe.

Rose Kennedy Schlossberg, the sister of the controversial Kennedy heir Jack Schlossberg, has given a troubling response when asked about her younger brother during a lunch in her adopted hometown of Ojai, California.

Rose, 36, was dining with her wife, filmmaker-turned-restaurateur Rory McAuliffe, 33, and Rory’s sister Meave, 38, at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa on Friday, Feb. 9. The group had treated themselves to a spa day at the renowned resort, a place known for its world-class spa services, fine dining, and premier golf course.

Rose Kennedy Schlossberg, 36, had a lavish spa day with wife Rory McAuliffe (right) this week as she avoids the media storm surrounding younger brother Jack and cousin RFK Jr.

When asked by a fellow diner about Jack’s well-being, Rose, who now goes by 'Ro', responded silently. According to an eyewitness, she shook her head as if to say no, then looked down at her phone, signaling her reluctance to discuss the matter further.

Rose, the daughter of Caroline Kennedy and her husband Ed Schlossberg, is one of three grandchildren of the late President John F. Kennedy. Despite her famous lineage, Rose has remained out of the public eye for much of her adult life, opting for a quieter existence in Ojai with her wife Rory. The couple, along with Rory’s sister, made the most of their visit, enjoying a leisurely afternoon at the spa.

Rose looked chic but casual, sporting a green-striped brown mock-neck sweater, black jeans, and sneakers. She accessorized with a cream-colored book bag featuring the initials 'JK,' which may be an heirloom from her grandmother, Jackie Kennedy.

"They ordered salads and talked about which spa treatments they were going to get before the conversation turned political," an eyewitness reported. "Meave said the Trump administration was 'petty' for targeting and making 'a big deal about' transgender athletes. But it was when Rose was asked about her brother that things got awkward."

Jack, 32, has been at the center of controversy for his erratic behavior on social media. He recently ignited a family rift by attacking his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 71, and conservative journalist Megyn Kelly. Jack went on to deleted his social media accounts. In his final post, Jack apologized, writing, "I'm sorry to everyone I hurt. I was wrong. I'm deleting all my social media. Forever. It's been fun. Thanks anyways everyone."

A celebrity website, Deux Moi, suggested that Jack's social media exit was related to his mother, Caroline Kennedy, who reportedly became upset after Jack attacked members of her cousin Maria Shriver's family for not opposing RFK Jr.’s nomination as Donald Trump's Health and Human Services Secretary. A source close to the family quoted by Deux Moi stated, "Caroline doesn't care what most people think but does care deeply about Maria Shriver."

Rose was born in New York City on June 25, 1988, and was named after her great-grandmother, JFK's mother, Rose Kennedy; and it was allegedly her grandmother Jackie who chose the name. She is pictured with her mom in 1996.

Jack’s cousin, Kathleen 'Kick' Kennedy, 36, expressed her concern for Jack's well-being, telling the New York Post that she hopes he gets the help he needs. Attorney Alan Dershowitz also weighed in, calling Jack “a disturbed, spoiled brat."

Unlike many other members of the Kennedy family, Rose has stayed largely out of the spotlight. Raised with her younger siblings Tatiana, 34, and Jack, she was only five years old when her grandmother, Jackie, passed away in 1994. Rose attended the prestigious Brearley private school in New York City and later earned an English degree from Harvard University.

Schlossberg, 32, who is President John F. Kennedy's sole grandson, has raised concerns over his bizarre and controversial presence online.

After dabbling in politics, filmmaking, and fashion, Rose has embraced a quieter life with Rory on the West Coast. Rory and her sister Meave run the popular farm-to-table restaurant, Rory’s Place, and the breakfast spot, Rory’s Other Place, in Ojai. The couple recently faced a difficult setback when a fire caused significant damage to their restaurant after Christmas in 2023.

At the time of the fire, Rory was seen removing items from the charred building, visibly distressed, as she carried large blue bags of belongings. Despite this setback, the couple’s ventures continue to be an integral part of Ojai’s thriving culinary scene.
