Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Denies Claims She and David Woolley Are Facing Marriage Troubles.
On Wednesday, February 12, Christine, 52, took to Instagram to address the speculation, sharing a video that began with a picture of her smiling. The screen displayed the text, “When I read that David and I are not happy,” before Christine added several photos and videos of herself and David, 61, smiling and enjoying each other’s company.
"I’m always surprised with what I read about myself!" Christine wrote in the caption, in response to the claims of trouble in her marriage. “Don’t you worry, we couldn’t be happier.”
The TLC star further emphasized her and David’s strong relationship, adding hashtags like “no problems here,” “he’s stuck with me,” and “soulmate.”
Following her post, many fans flooded the comments section, praising Christine and David for showing that their relationship is as strong as ever. “You’ve truly never looked happier, a joy you couldn’t fake even if you tried! So happy for you,” one fan commented. Another shared, “Only you guys know the truth but it’s shining out of you both like sunshine!”
Many social media users also encouraged the couple to ignore the online critics. “There’s always the haters hun, super happy for you and David, you both are perfect for each other and it’s great to see you so happy,” one user wrote, while another added, “Y’all are just Magic! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”
Christine’s relationship with David began in 2023, following her split from ex-husband Kody Brown in November 2021 after 25 years of spiritual marriage. Christine made her romance with David public in February 2023. The couple became engaged in April 2023 and married in October 2023.
Although they’ve been married for just over a year, their relationship and wedding planning have been featured on recent episodes of Sister Wives. During the October 27, 2024, episode, Christine explained why her ex-husband Kody, along with her former sister wives Meri and Robyn Brown, weren’t invited to her wedding to David. “We’ll invite Janelle [Brown] to our wedding, Janelle’s kids,” Christine said, referring to her former sister wife, whom she remains close with after both women’s splits from Kody. “Leon [Brown], for sure, Meri’s child. I am not ready to be around Meri and Robyn and Kody yet.”
Christine has also been open about her deep love for David. In the November 17, 2024, episode, she shared that she “never felt like this before” in a relationship after David proposed. “Never been this much in love either,” she admitted. “I never loved Kody as much as I love David,” she continued. “Was never in love with Kody like I’m in love with David. Never.”
