DLA Piper Appoints Chris Jessup as Partner in Financial Services Regulation.
DLA Piper has announced the appointment of Chris Jessup as a partner in the firm’s Litigation and Regulatory practice, where he will specialize in financial services regulation.
Chris Jessup, who joins DLA Piper from A&L Goodbody, brings extensive experience to the role. He previously served as a partner and Co-Head of the FinTech Group at A&L Goodbody’s Belfast office. As a highly experienced financial services (FS) regulatory lawyer, Jessup’s expertise focuses on advising global payment providers.
Mr. Jessup will be based in DLA Piper’s Ireland office and will work with both local and international clients starting in May 2025.

Chris Jessup has represented a wide range of financial services clients, including banks, payment service providers, investment firms, fund managers, and FinTech companies. He has provided legal counsel on matters relating to UK and EU financial services regulation, establishing himself as a trusted advisor within the financial sector.
