Dr. Simone Whitmore Calls Porsha Williams a Mean Girl.
The drama continues to unfold in the Married to Medicine universe as Dr. Simone Whitmore speaks out in response to Phaedra Parks' accusations about the veteran cast members.
In a heated moment during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Stacey Rusch, Simone didn’t hold back when asked about the ongoing “mean girl” allegations on the show.
The "Mean Girl" Controversy Unfolds
The current season of Married to Medicine has caused a stir on social media, especially surrounding how Phaedra Parks was treated by the cast. Phaedra, who returned for her second season, found herself in hot water after tensions flared during a couples’ trip.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes invited Apollo Nida to the trip, even though he initially told Heavenly that his estranged wife, Sherien Copes, would not be attending. However, both Sherien and Apollo showed up, creating immediate tension.
Adding fuel to the fire, Phaedra introduced her new love interest, Cheick, at a speed dating event hosted by Married to Medicine star Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford. When Cheick revealed that he knew Apollo, Phaedra’s ex-husband, it sparked issues between the two former partners.
Despite these issues, Phaedra didn’t seem to care much about upsetting Apollo or Sherien, even telling producers that Sherien was Apollo’s mistress while she was pregnant with their youngest child.
The Fallout and Phaedra’s Reaction
After Apollo and Sherien confronted Phaedra over her new relationship, Phaedra returned home on a private jet. Dr. Jackie Walters tried to convince Phaedra to stay, but Phaedra wasn’t interested. In an emotional moment, Phaedra told Jackie that “some people can be played with, but I am not one of them.”

It was here that Phaedra took aim at the veteran cast members of Married to Medicine, accusing them of being “mean girls.” She stated that the reason new cast members don’t last is because the veterans treat them poorly. This comment echoed sentiments expressed by previous Married to Medicine star Audra Curry and even Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams, who had hinted at similar treatment on the show.
Simone Whitmore’s Response to Phaedra’s Claims
During her Watch What Happens Live appearance, Dr. Simone Whitmore was asked about Phaedra’s claims that the veteran cast members are “mean girls.” Simone quickly shot back, stating that Phaedra herself gave the cast an “unnecessary and unfit hard time.”
Simone also brought up Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams, making a bold statement: “I think she was ready to be back with Porsha, ready to be back as Frick and Frack. And so just say that, but don’t leave out calling us mean girls when you’re headed to the number one mean girl.” Simone’s remark was an indirect but clear jab at Porsha.

When Andy Cohen pressed Simone, asking if she was calling Porsha the “number one mean girl,” Simone didn’t hesitate to mention Real Housewives star Kenya Moore, adding, “She’s mean. She’s tried to fight on social media…she snatched Kenya down. You were there.”
Tensions Build as Cast Members Speak Out
Simone’s comments on Watch What Happens Live reveal the deep-rooted tensions within the Married to Medicine cast. While the cast continues to defend their actions, Phaedra’s presence has sparked a range of reactions from fellow reality stars.

Even Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant weighed in, criticizing the way Phaedra was treated during her time on the show, calling it “horrible.”
Despite all the drama, Dr. Jackie Walters and the other veterans don’t consider themselves “mean girls,” but it’s clear that the cast dynamics are far from harmonious. The drama continues to escalate as each cast member gives their take on the ongoing feud, with Simone’s callout of Porsha and Kenya adding another layer of intrigue to the season.
