Linda Hogan broke down in tears on Instagram as she publicly accused her ex-husband, Hulk Hogan, of being a “liar” and “sex addict,” while revealing her heartache over being estranged from their daughter Brooke.
“It’s been 15 however long years since I left Hulk Hogan and my family is the worst mess,” said the former Hogan Knows Best star. “Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She had twins, she got married [and] she didn’t tell us.”
She said she hasn’t spoken to Brooke in nearly eight years and believes her daughter’s conflict with Hulk — real name Terry Bollea — led to Linda being cut off too.

“He’s a complete liar. He is a sex addict,” she continued. “He marches on like, ‘Oh, I’m promoting my own beer, Real American Beer.’ Yeah, look at me. Woo. He’s such a hero. Not! Okay, I’m gonna give you my thumbs down.”
Linda also claimed the divorce settlement left her with little, despite building a multi-million dollar empire with Hulk. “I worked for 25 years for free, basically,” she said.
The day after Linda’s video went viral, Brooke Hogan responded with a lengthy Instagram statement. She criticized both parents, saying her decision to step away was based on years of mistreatment.
“I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood,” she wrote. “Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume.”
Brooke called her mother’s tearful video “mild” compared to previous behavior but expressed sympathy for her pain. “She has been through A LOT of trauma and pain. My heart breaks for her.”
She added that her silence over the years was a way to avoid public scrutiny, even though it hurt her career and well-being.
Brooke made clear that her decision to go no-contact with her parents wasn’t about siding with one over the other.
“No contact with my Mom has nothing to do with my Dad, and no contact with my Father has nothing to do with my Mother,” she said. “This also pertains to my Dad’s second and third, now current wife.”
She claimed her personal experiences with each parent were enough to make that decision.
“I’ve been ASKED to defend poor behavior to the public and have done so out of love. Only to find I was misinformed, manipulated, and lied to.”
