Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing new legal trouble as Kirk Burrowes, co-founder and former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, has filed a lawsuit accusing him of decades-long sexual abuse, coercion, and violence.
Burrowes' lawsuit, filed on February 28 in New York, alleges that Combs subjected him to repeated sexual harassment, intimidation, and financial extortion—all as part of a toxic culture of control at Bad Boy Entertainment.
According to the 18-page complaint, Burrowes claims Combs engaged in:
The complaint describes an escalating "campaign of control", including incidents where Combs allegedly stormed into Burrowes’ office with a baseball bat, demanding he sign away his ownership stake or face violent consequences.
The lawsuit claims that between 1992 and 1994, Combs created an environment of humiliation and psychological manipulation, forcing Burrowes to witness and participate in disturbing situations. These included:
The complaint details a 1995 business trip, where Combs allegedly demanded Burrowes watch him masturbate, and another incident in late 1995 where Combs allegedly pinned Burrowes down and simulated intercourse.
In a separate but related lawsuit, Burrowes also accuses Combs’ mother, Janice Combs, of unlawfully taking control of his 25% stake in Bad Boy Entertainment. He alleges that she knowingly participated in a fraudulent scheme to erase his role in the company and destroy his career behind the scenes.
Combs’ lawyers denied the allegations, calling the lawsuit a “frivolous attempt” to re-litigate claims that have been repeatedly dismissed over the years.
"Despite repeated dismissals, Burrowes and his lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, continue to waste the court’s time with refiled claims," Combs’ legal team stated.

The lawsuit is the latest in a growing list of allegations against Combs, who is also facing federal charges related to sex trafficking and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
The lawsuit references multiple alleged incidents spanning from the 1990s to as recently as 2022, including:
Burrowes is requesting a jury trial and seeking damages for the physical, emotional, and financial devastation he claims Combs inflicted on him.
This lawsuit adds to Combs’ growing legal troubles, with multiple accusations of sexual misconduct, violence, and criminal activity. If the claims hold up in court, the case could severely impact his legacy and business empire.
The case is ongoing, with a trial set for May 2025.
