Sherman & Howard merge with Taft.
Taft expands to the Mountain West region by combining with a prominent 130-year-old Denver’s law firm, Sherman & Howard L.L.C., creating more than 1,000 attorneys.
The merger will take effect on January 1, 2025.

Sherman & Howard's eight offices will integrate with Taft's nine key markets, increasing the number of states with Taft offices to 10, in addition to Washington, D.C.

Taft’s revenues have grown to more than 400% of what they were at the beginning of 2017, while its lawyer headcount is approximately 275% of what it was at that time. Following the integration of Sherman & Howard, Taft expects its combined revenues to reach $810 million in 2024 and $875 million in 2025.
