Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick, 38, has pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge related to a domestic violence incident that occurred in June at the New Jersey home she shares with fiancé Vinny Tortorella. The reality star has entered a guilty plea during her court appearance at the Freehold Township Municipal Court on Tuesday.
A judge has determined that the disorderly conduct charge will be conditionally dismissed. This decision stipulates that the charge will be dismissed provided that the television personality fulfills specific probationary requirements within the span of one year. Pivarnick's guilty plea will be removed from her record as long as she meets the necessary conditions, even though those conditions weren't specified. Additionally, the judge approved the prosecutor's request to drop four other charges, which included obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, simple assault, and criminal mischief.
Pivarnick's attorney, James Leonard Jr. said: "All of Angelina's criminal charges were dismissed, she admitted responsibility only for a non-criminal offense, the substance of which was that she created a minor disturbance at her own home. We are very happy with the outcome and she looks forward to putting this entire matter behind her."
On June 2, law enforcement arrived at the home of the reality star after reports of a possible domestic dispute. It's still uncertain whether her fiancé, Vinny Tortorella, was the one affected, but it indicates that he was present at the house during the situation. In August 2023, Pivarnick called 911 following a reported incident at the couple's home in Freehold, New Jersey, as stated in a police report. However, when the police arrived, Pivarnick chose not to file charges against Tortorella. Pivarnick's attorney, James Leonard Jr. said that Angelina indeed called the police to her residence. After her conversation with the officers, she chose not to pursue any charges.
Vinny Tortorella's attorney Elizabeth Rozin-Golinder, stated that the couple's relationship remains intact despite the recent incident. "My client and Ms. Pivarnick are still engaged and living together," she mentioned in her statement. "Mr. Tortorella firmly denies any wrongdoing that would necessitate police intervention and asserts that no domestic violence took place. Ms. Pivarnick and law enforcement have not filed any charges against my client."
