Megan Thee Stallion Takes Legal Action Against Blogger for Harassment.

Megan Thee Stallion, 29, is  filing a lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz (real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper) for harassment and the dissemination of false information related to the Tory Lanez shooting incident. The rapper, known for her powerful presence in the music industry, aims to hold bloggers accountable for what she describes as years of cyberbullying and defamation.

The Allegations

On October 30, Megan Thee Stallion (whose full name is Megan Pete) filed her lawsuit in Florida, alleging that Milagro Cooper acts as a "paid surrogate" for Lanez, who was convicted of shooting her in 2020. According to court documents, Cooper has posted a "deepfake pornographic video" of Megan on X (formerly Twitter) and made various damaging claims about her personal life, including accusations of a "severe drinking problem" and questioning her "mental status." Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that Cooper labeled Megan as an "angry Black woman" and a "lying ass hoe."

Megan's legal team contends that Cooper's statements are not only defamatory but also factually incorrect, particularly regarding the gun used in the shooting. The lawsuit asserts that Cooper claimed the firearm was "lost" and thus not presented during the trial, despite it being in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Legal Demands

Megan’s legal team is pursuing a jury trial and seeks "monetary damages" alongside coverage for her attorneys' fees and costs. They are also requesting a permanent injunction to prevent Milagro Cooper from using or publishing any private visual representations of Megan Thee Stallion in the future.

Expressing her frustrations, Megan Thee Stallion stated, "It’s time to hold bloggers responsible for the ongoing harassment, cyberbullying, and the spread of false information regarding my personal and professional life." She emphasized that she has faced relentless attacks on her character, fueled by false narratives propagated by social media bloggers posing as journalists.

Responses and Counteractions

In response to the lawsuit, Milagro Cooper acknowledged the legal action on X, stating, "I just found out that Alex Spiro is suing me for his client, Megan Thee Stallion." She teased that her countersuit would be "wild," indicating that the legal battle is just beginning.

Background on the Incident

The conflict between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez culminated in a highly publicized trial. In December 2022, a jury found Lanez guilty of assaulting Megan with a semi-automatic weapon and convicted him for possessing a loaded, unregistered firearm in his vehicle. He received a 10-year prison sentence for the violent act, which occurred after a disagreement between the two artists and Megan's former assistant and ex-friend, Kelsey Harris, following their departure from a pool party at Kylie Jenner's home in July 2020.
