Jeannie Mai Accuses Jeezy of Harassment Over Bank Records Subpoena.

Jeannie Mai, 45, has requested a judge to put an end to a “secret subpoena” that her ex-husband Jeezy filed regarding her bank records, arguing that it is a form of harassment. In court documents, Jeannie asked the court to dismiss the subpoena that Jeezy, 46, issued to City National Bank. Jeannie mentioned that Jeezy instructed City National to provide her personal and business bank account statements, deposit slips, and proof of withdrawals from those accounts before November 1.

Jeezy and Jeannie ended their marriage in 2023 after two years together and have a daughter named Monaco.

Although Jeezy and Jeannie reached a settlement in their contentious divorce in June, Jeannie later filed a new case claiming Jeezy was in contempt. Jeezy has refuted these claims.

In her latest filing, Jeannie stated that Jeezy issued two distinct subpoenas. She claimed the first was sent on October 22, followed by a second on October 28. Jeannie accused Jeezy and his team of not informing her about the initial subpoena, referring to it as a “secret subpoena” in her documents.

Jeannie described the subpoenas as “oppressive, unreasonable, and not intended to uncover admissible evidence, but rather aimed at causing annoyance, embarrassment, and oppression.” Her attorney emphasized, “The subpoena is excessively broad and burdensome, clearly intended to embarrass and harass Ms. Mai, as it seeks information unrelated to the current Contempt action."

Additionally, Ms. Mai has offered several alternative ways for Jeezy to access the information he is now demanding from her personal and business bank accounts for the period between June 2024 and October 2024.”

Jeannie’s lawyer criticized Jeezy, stating, “Considering Jeezy’s history of neglecting his financial responsibilities, both in a previous unrelated custody case and the numerous lawsuits filed against him by former employees and associates over unpaid debts, it is evident that Jeezy’s intention in issuing this subpoena was solely to harass and intimidate Ms. Mai.”

Jeannie alleged that Jeezy did not adhere to the terms of their divorce settlement in her contempt lawsuit. She stated that he neglected to cover certain daycare and educational expenses and failed to deposit $500,000 into an account for their daughter.

Additionally, Jeannie asserted that Jeezy owed her $92,000 for four months of unpaid rent, did not transfer the titles of two vehicles to her, and was behind on $4,000 in tuition and childcare fees.

In response, Jeezy refuted these claims, stating that Jeannie was making “blatant misrepresentations in her pleadings in an attempt to mislead and delude this honorable court.”

The musician mentioned that he requested the lease agreement to verify the rent payments, but claimed Jeannie provided him with various agreements that he could not confirm, and she did not offer any proof of payment for any of the four versions of the lease.

“It became readily apparent to Jeezy that all of the lease agreements provided by Jeannie were fraudulent,” his lawyer claimed.
The motion stated, “Based upon the foregoing, Jeezy is clearly of the belief that Jeannie is attempting to get reimbursed for a status quo housing allowance that she has never incurred, never needed, and never paid. Jeannie has always wanted Jenkins to simply pay her $25,000/month even though she has not paid any monthly rental payment for any month since she relocated from the former marital residence in California.”

Jeezy mentioned that if his ex had given him solid evidence of any "monthly rental payment," he would have definitely made the payment. He refuted the allegation that he didn't set up a bank account for his daughter and deposit the six-figure amount into it. He also pointed out that Jeannie did not provide the childcare receipts for his examination. Additionally, he noted that the cars had not been transferred yet because the DMV was taking a considerable amount of time to handle the request.

His attorney pointed out that Jeannie’s actions are reckless, deceitful, and unlawful. Jeezy requested that Jeannie’s contempt motion be dismissed. The case is still in progress.
