Teenager Killed After Neighbor's Attack, Left to Be Devoured by Pigs.
A 17-year-old girl named Milena Shevelyova lost her life in a tragic incident involving pigs at her family's farm in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Initially, it was thought that she had been severely injured by the animals; however, subsequent inquiries uncovered that her death was actually caused by a violent assault from a neighbor, Igor Zaika, who held a grudge against her father.
On November 23, Igor, aged 40, assaulted Milena following a confrontation with her father. In his statement to the authorities, Igor admitted to witnessing Milena departing from the farm and proceeded to strike her twice, resulting in her losing consciousness. "I struck her twice. The first time, she pushed me away. I hit her a second time," he recounted to the police. After rendering her unconscious, Igor abandoned Milena, who was subsequently left vulnerable to an attack by the pigs.
Igor initially planned to eliminate the family's livestock and ignite the farm, but upon meeting Milena, he opted to assault her instead. He subsequently admitted to law enforcement that he held animosity towards her father. An early report indicated, "The animals severed her femoral artery and inflicted bites on her."
Milena's lifeless body was located by a friend, who found her on the farm, covered in blood and suffering from multiple injuries inflicted by the pigs. She ultimately died from blood loss resulting from the attack and the bites.
