Sean 'Diddy' Combs Accused of Sexual Assault in 2006 'Black Party' Lawsuit.
Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing two new civil lawsuits as of Friday, one of which claims he sexually assaulted a 23-year-old woman who won a contest to attend one of his parties in New York City back in 2006.
In a lawsuit filed in federal court in New York, LaTroya Grayson alleges that she attended Combs' "black party" on October 16, 2006, and found herself in the hospital the next day with no memory of the night before.
The lawsuit includes photos of receipts, plane tickets, and images reportedly taken at the event. Grayson states that she consumed "less than" two drinks served by staff and woke up at Saint Vincent's Medical Center in New York. According to the complaint, Grayson believes she was drugged, assaulted, and robbed, with no recollection of how she ended up in the hospital, as her last memory was being at Diddy's party.
Upon arriving at the hospital, she claims to have discovered that her shirt was torn, her underwear was missing, she was barefoot, and the money she had brought with her was gone, leaving her with only a twenty-dollar bill. She also alleges that the next day, an "anonymous female caller" threatened her against taking action against Combs regarding the alleged assault.
Grayson claims this call led her to believe that Combs was "involved" in the incident. Almost a month prior to the lawsuit being filed, The Mirror published an interview with Grayson discussing the alleged assault. Diddy's legal team has denied the claims of sexual assault from 2006.
In a statement on Friday, Combs' attorneys said, "Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone or engaged in sex trafficking. Ms. Grayson acknowledges that she has no memory of the events described in her complaint, does not know who was allegedly involved, and has never spoken to Mr. Combs."
Her claims against him are entirely unfounded. As previously stated, Mr. Combs cannot address every frivolous lawsuit and opportunistic attempt to profit from legal action. He trusts the judicial system to distinguish between truth and these self-serving allegations. In her lawsuit, Grayson asserts that she and her half-sibling won a contest hosted by Tulsa's 105.3 KJAMZ FM, which granted them an all-expenses-paid trip to one of Combs' parties in New York City.
She alleges that Atlantic Records "facilitated the event" and organized her travel, lodging, and transportation. Following the alleged incident, she reported experiencing vaginal pain but chose not to inform law enforcement due to fear and confusion. Grayson has accused Combs and several other parties—including his Bad Boy Entertainment label, Atlantic, the Tulsa radio station, and Delta Airlines—of being part of a RICO enterprise, asserting that they are "100% liable" for Combs' alleged conduct.
She has also claimed negligence, sexual assault and battery, as well as violations of the New York City Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act.

In a separate case, a Jane Doe from Louisiana, represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, filed a lawsuit on the same day, accusing Combs of sexually assaulting her in 1991 after they met at a charity basketball game at City College in New York. According to the filing, she claims she was invited to the tragic event—where nine individuals lost their lives in a stampede—by a rapper. When he was unavailable, she alleges she was introduced to Combs in a makeshift dressing room, where he sexually assaulted her while his bodyguard "stood watch" on the other side of the door.
Doe is pursuing compensatory damages for her injuries and emotional suffering, along with punitive damages related to the alleged assault. Her attorney, Buzbee, has initiated nearly twenty lawsuits on behalf of alleged victims, including minors, who claim that Combs sexually assaulted them over a span of thirty years.
This month, he has been involved in a legal dispute with Shawn Carter, known as Jay-Z, after filing an amended lawsuit for a client who alleges that both the music mogul and Combs assaulted her in 2000 when she was just 13 years old. Carter has strongly denied these accusations.
In reaction to the initial lawsuit filed in October, representatives for Combs stated that Buzbee's "onslaught of filings were obvious attempts to attract media attention" and insisted that Combs "has never sexually assaulted anyone—whether adult or minor, male or female." Combs is currently incarcerated after being denied bail several times, with a trial scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025. He continues to assert his innocence amidst over two dozen civil lawsuits that have emerged in the past year, accusing him of rape, trafficking, and sexual abuse dating from the 1990s to 2022.
In September, he entered a plea of not guilty to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. The allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs, spanning decades, highlight serious concerns about accountability in the entertainment industry. As lawsuits unfold, they underscore the importance of addressing misconduct allegations transparently while ensuring justice for all parties involved. These cases will test the legal system's ability to navigate complex claims and uncover the truth.
