Breakups and Babies! A recap of Season 7, Episode 17 of ‘90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days’

Episode 17 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 highlighted a mix of new beginnings and bittersweet endings for the couples, taking us from a breakup to the joy of a baby.

Vanja from 90 Day Fiance has officially moved on after her relationship with Bozo

After meeting Josko on a dating app following her tough breakup, she decided to meet him for a second date at a rooftop bar. “Six years could be the end of that cobweb situation,” the belly dancer shared with producers, hinting at her long period of celibacy. She expressed that she had been “walking on air” since their first date just two days earlier and was considering inviting him to stay the night.

The bar had a romantic hot tub, perfect for setting the mood. During their time together, Vanja asked Josko about his past relationship, which he described as being with a jealous partner in 2022. He assured her he was “definitely” seeking something serious, leading Vanja to share her six years of celibacy. She explained that sex was “a special bond” and that she hadn’t felt a strong connection with anyone until now. Vanja did invite Josko to her apartment for the night, but the next morning, she told the cameras that they did not have sex. She admitted to feeling cautious about “getting in too deep” and was “holding back” to protect herself from potential heartbreak.

Josko had his own worries about whether Vanja would accept his child from a previous relationship. While they were hiking, he brought up the topic and asked her how she would feel about having a foster son. Vanja replied with warmth, saying she thought it was “wonderful,” but she also shared her concerns. She recounted a past experience with an ex-partner and his child, explaining how the end of that relationship left her heartbroken—not just because she lost her fiancé, but also because she lost his daughter. She also wondered if she would be a good mother.

Josko quickly reassured her, saying she would be fantastic at it. “This is only our third date, and I already know you’re the one for me and for him,” he told her. Later that evening, Vanja and Josko had a candid discussion about their future, as they hadn’t yet addressed what would happen when she had to leave. “I want to see where this goes with you. So, what are we doing?” Vanja inquired. “Am I your girlfriend now?” Josko confirmed that she was indeed his girlfriend and mentioned that the next step would be for him to visit Orlando for a few days. However, he admitted that relocating to the United States would be complicated due to legal issues concerning his child. In another storyline, Joe was gearing up to meet

Magda’s mother for the first time in episode 17

He wanted to make a good impression and brought flowers to the dinner meeting. “I definitely feel the pressure to impress her, especially knowing how close they are,” he shared in a private confessional. “If I can win over Magda’s mom, it might earn me some brownie points. Or should I say pierogi points?” Unfortunately, the dinner didn’t start off well, as Joe sensed he wasn’t receiving the warmest welcome from Magda’s mother, attributing it to the language barrier. His confidence took a hit when he learned that Magda had informed her mother about his past involvement with another woman during their relationship.

Joe expressed that he felt “terrible” about the situation, emphasizing that he never meant to hurt Magda with his actions. Meanwhile, Magda’s mother shared her worries that Joe might “get bored or something and leave,” but he reassured her of his genuine feelings for her daughter.

Magda’s mom eventually acknowledged that Joe made a positive impression on her, though she was uncertain if he would be a “suitable romantic partner” for her child. With just one day left in her hometown, Magda chose to take Joe to play volleyball, which she described as “her passion.”

After a few matches, Joe inquired if Magda frequently played with other men. She confirmed that she did and often received attention, but hadn’t thought about dating anyone from those games. While discussing relationships, she also stated that you “cannot be friends with your ex.” This made Joe uneasy since he had previously dated his friend Jill and was unsure how to share that with Magda.

90 Day Fiance’s Veah and Sunny Had a Disagreement About Religion

Sunny and Veah planned to celebrate their one-year anniversary with a trip to the Drakensberg mountains. Although they were still processing the awkward encounter with Sunny’s father, they hoped to enjoy their getaway. “I felt really upset about how things went with Sunny’s dad, but he was so insistent that I need to convert,” Veah shared with the cameras, questioning whether Sunny expected her to convert to Islam as well.

Sunny was excited to be on vacation with Veah but felt torn about their future. “I’m feeling guilty deep down because I’ve been thinking a lot, and I really need to discuss converting her to Islam,” he admitted, revealing his desire for a Muslim wife. On their first night, Veah surprised Sunny by wearing lingerie, and they agreed to “mess up” the hotel bed. Despite enjoying their time together, Sunny recognized that he needed to address the topic of conversion with Veah during the trip.

He expressed, “I really want us to make the most of our time together,” in a heartfelt moment. “But there’s a crucial discussion I’ve been holding back.” After an unexpected Zulu dance performance, Sunny chose to address Veah about her religion. “You know I’m Muslim, so if we’re going to be together, you need to convert. It’s necessary,” Sunny insisted. Veah firmly responded, “I’m not becoming Muslim,” and criticized him for being swayed by others. She also pointed out his premarital relations. Sunny warned Veah that if she didn’t change her beliefs, their relationship would end, and he left the table in frustration.

Loren and Faith from 90 Day Fiancé have called it off

Just a day after their engagement, Faith was preparing to head back to the U.S., but they sought advice from an immigration lawyer to see if Loren could extend his stay in the Philippines. While Faith felt a connection with Loren, she acknowledged his unconventional views on marriage, including the idea of marrying her mother due to the lack of recognition for same-sex marriage in the Philippines.

Their only viable option was to wed in the U.S., where such unions were legal. However, Loren admitted he couldn’t fulfill the financial requirements for a K-1 visa, stating, “This is the last thing I wanted to hear because I never wanted to leave here. I don’t want to go back to Vegas,” he shared with the cameras. “I want to stay here.” After a disappointing meeting with the lawyer, Loren and Faith decided to enjoy his final night together by booking a hotel room. Loren attempted to mask his feelings of sadness by playfully crushing beer cans with his head, which Faith found odd. She questioned whether that was typical behavior in front of a girlfriend, and Loren reassured her it was. However, Faith felt uneasy and disrespected by his antics.

Faith ultimately informed Loren that their relationship was “over” and returned the engagement ring. “I thought today would be a happy occasion, but I’m feeling scared. I’m just not comfortable,” she shared with the producers.

In another storyline, Tigerlily and Adnan have been focused on trying to conceive during their time in Turkey

Tigerlily expressed her worries about her age and asked Adnan what would happen if they were unable to get pregnant. He explained, “In my religion, if a wife doesn’t bear children, it’s acceptable to marry another wife,” adding that he could have multiple wives in the family.

Tigerlily was not pleased with this response, jokingly mentioning all the ways she would take revenge on him. Adnan reassured Tigerlily by sharing that his mother divorced his father after he took a second wife, promising her that he wouldn’t do the same. After spending a week together in Istanbul, Tigerlily headed back to Texas. Just two weeks after her return, she experienced some lower abdominal pain and was advised to take a pregnancy test. The mother of two discovered she was pregnant and decided to wait to reveal the news in person. “I just hope he gets his spousal visa approved quickly because I can’t handle this alone,” she admitted to the cameras.
