What Is Kimberly Guilfoyle's Net Worth and Salary?

Kimberly Guilfoyle is a well-known American cable news figure and former attorney, boasting a net worth of $25 million. She gained significant recognition as a co-host on Fox News Channel's "The Five" and "Outnumbered." Additionally, she is known for her previous marriage to Gavin Newsom, a Democratic politician from California, with whom she was married from 2001 to 2006 while he served as the mayor of San Francisco.

In 2018, she entered into a relationship with Donald Trump Jr.

Early Life

Born on March 9, 1969, in San Francisco, California, Kimberly Guilfoyle spent her childhood in the Mission District and Westlake, Daly City. Her mother, Mercedes, was a special education teacher from Puerto Rico who tragically passed away from leukemia when Kimberly was just eleven. Her father, Anthony Guilfoyle, originally from Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, moved to the U.S. in 1957 at the age of 20.

Although he was not yet a U.S. citizen, he was drafted into the Army in 1958 and served for four years. He later worked as a construction worker and became a real estate investor until his passing in 2008. Kimberly graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Davis, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1994. During her time in law school, she also modeled for brands like Victoria's Secret and Macy's, while interning at the San Francisco district attorney's office. She furthered her education at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, where she conducted research on children's rights and European Economic Community Law.

Law Career

After graduating from law school, Guilfoyle had a short stint as a prosecutor in San Francisco. Unfortunately, in 1996, she lost her position when the new District Attorney, Terence Hallinan, let go of 14 city prosecutors. She then relocated to Los Angeles, where she dedicated four years to serving as a Deputy District Attorney. During this time, she handled a variety of cases, including those related to domestic violence, narcotics, kidnapping, robbery, arson, sexual assault, and homicide.

Her efforts earned her multiple accolades, such as Prosecutor of the Month. In 2000, Kimberly returned to the San Francisco District Attorney's office as an Assistant D.A. She played a key role in securing a conviction while co-prosecuting James Hammer in the notable 2002 People v. Noel and Knoller case, which revolved around a second-degree murder trial stemming from a dog mauling incident. This case, along with Guilfoyle's involvement, attracted international media attention. In 2008, she joined the La Raza Lawyers Association.

Media and Television

Kimberly Guilfoyle relocated to New York City in January 2004 to take on the role of host for the show "Both Sides" on Court TV. She also served as a legal analyst for "Anderson Cooper 360." In 2006, she joined Fox News as the host of the weekend program "The Lineup," which was unfortunately canceled after just one year. Despite this, Kimberly continued to be a prominent contributor for Fox News and became a co-host of "The Five" in 2011, a position she held until 2018.

In 2014, she started regularly hosting "Outnumbered" until the show found a permanent host. Additionally, she featured weekly on the segment "Is It Legal?" on the "O'Reilly Factor" until its cancellation in 2017. In 2015, she published an advice book titled "Making the Case: How to Be Your Own Best Advocate." Kimberly was also a regular guest on Brian Kilmeade's radio show, "Kilmeade and Friends," every Thursday. She made guest appearances as a host on "Hannity," "On the Record," "Justice with Judge Jeanine," and "Fox and Friends." Although she extended her contract with Fox in June 2017, she departed from the network in July 2018.

Political Career

In December 2016, it was reported that Guilfoyle was under consideration for the role of press secretary for Donald Trump, although Sean Spicer ultimately secured the position. After leaving her position at Fox News in 2018, she joined America First Policies, a Super PAC supporting Trump. By 2020, Kimberly was identified as a member of the finance committee for the Trump Victory Committee. The Trump campaign compensated her with an annual salary of $180,000 through Parscale Strategy, the private firm of the campaign manager.

Kimberly has taken on various advisory roles, including overseeing a fundraising division during the Trump 2020 campaign, which involved hiring socialite Somers Farkas to assist in fundraising efforts.

Personal Life

Guilfoyle married Gavin Newsom, who was then a city supervisor in San Francisco, in 2001. When Newsom became the Mayor of San Francisco in 2003, Guilfoyle assumed the role of First Lady, adopting the name Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom during their marriage. However, their long-distance relationship faced challenges, leading them to file for divorce together in January 2005, which was finalized on February 28, 2006. In May 2006, Kimberly married Eric Villency, a furniture heir, and they welcomed their son, Ronan Anthony, on October 4, 2006.

The couple divorced in November 2009. In May 2018, news broke that Guilfoyle was in a relationship with Donald Trump Jr., following their appearance at an event together. At that time, Trump Jr. was separated from his wife, Vanessa. Kimberly has maintained a close friendship with the Trump family over the years. She and Trump Jr. got engaged in December 2020, although the engagement was not publicly announced until early 2022. On July 4, 2020, the "New York Times" reported that Guilfoyle tested positive for COVID-19 while in South Carolina, just before attending a Trump event at Mount Rushmore. She returned to New York, while both Donald Trump Jr. and her son tested negative for the virus.

Real Estate

In 2015, Kimberly purchased a three-bedroom apartment in the iconic Beresford building in Manhattan for $3.5 million. She put the apartment on the market in October 2020, asking for just under $5 million.
