Kanye West Shares Photo of Daughter North, 11, Saying "This little girl made me love music again."
Kanye West, 47, now known as Ye, took to Instagram on Tuesday to express his deep affection for his 11-year-old daughter, North, revealing that she has reignited his love for music and played a pivotal role in his musical journey.
Ye, who shares North with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, showered praise on his eldest child, posting a black-and-white photo of her in the recording studio. His caption read: “This little girl reignited my passion for music. She asked me to make beats for her. I got back on the ASR, chopped up beats for her album, and chopped every beat with my bare hands for BULLY.” This post marked one of only six he shared on his Instagram account after clearing it last year.
North’s impact on her father’s music is undeniable, and this revelation comes shortly after Ye announced the title of his upcoming 11th studio album, BULLY. The project is highly anticipated, with Ye revealing the album's cover art just a month after the announcement. Additionally, Ye is currently working on his Vultures album series, with collaborations alongside rapper Ty Dolla Sign, and fans can expect a third release next year.
Recently, Ye’s family made headlines with their more relaxed approach to the Kardashian-Jenner family’s traditional Christmas Eve celebration. The event, first started by Kris Jenner in 1987, was a much-anticipated gathering, and this year, the festivities included a special collaboration between Ye and his daughters. Last year, North and her younger sister Chicago, aged seven, joined their father on the track Bomb, with a whimsical music video released in November.
In the video, North, who raps in basic Japanese, delivers a standout verse, while Chicago expresses her enjoyment of “having fun” and “going to the beach.” The track demonstrated the growing influence North has had on her father’s creative process.
Ye’s recent social media activity also sparked attention. After he shared and later removed a controversial Instagram video featuring a nude clip of Pamela Anderson, Ye’s marriage to Bianca Censori, 30, came under scrutiny. The clip, which was accompanied by provocative audio from a seemingly unreleased Ye track titled Hide Your B**h*, led to concerns about his personal life.
Despite the controversies, Ye remains focused on his family, including a reunion with his children from Kim Kardashian after being apart for 118 days. The rapper, who has spent much of the past six months travelling with Censori, was recently spotted in Japan with his three youngest children.
Ye’s journey continues to unfold, both musically and personally, as his relationship with his daughter North continues to inspire his work and creativity.
