On January 22, Ally Lewber explained that the domestic incident, which led to James Kennedy’s arrest, occurred after an argument outside his home. According to Ally, the argument was related to James drinking again, but she clarified, “However, I was not physically hurt.”
Ally also expressed that she had no intention of pursuing criminal charges against James. "I have never wished to pursue criminal charges against James," she wrote, adding that she was "pleased" to learn that the Burbank City Attorney's Office had decided not to take legal action against him. Despite the end of their relationship, Ally shared that she will continue to support James in his journey, particularly with his sobriety. “We are no longer together,” she said, “but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing.”
James Kennedy’s Response and Legal Outcome
As of now, James Kennedy has not publicly commented on his breakup with Ally. However, his attorney issued a statement on January 22, revealing that James is focusing on his sobriety and DJ career following the decision by prosecutors not to move forward with the case. "There were no grounds for any charges to be filed against Mr. Kennedy," the statement read. It went on to say that the DJ "is grateful to have this matter behind him."

James was arrested on December 10 at around 11:20 p.m. after law enforcement responded to a domestic incident at his residence in the Los Angeles area. Officers assessed the situation and determined it was a domestic matter, leading to James being taken to a nearby police station. He was later released on bail, as reported by the Burbank Police Department.
