Lovestruck heiress successfully reclaims £3.8 million that she lavished on a younger 'wellness guru' who drove away in her mother's £350,000 Ferrari.

A wellness entrepreneur has been ordered to pay £3.86 million and return a £350,000 Ferrari to his wealthy ex-partner following accusations of financial misconduct during their relationship.

Kash Amini, 35, the boss of the ‘finance and wellness’ app Maslife, is facing these financial penalties after socialite and multimillionaire heiress Vanessa Wurm, 41, accused him of misappropriating millions of pounds she invested into his company. Their romantic relationship, which lasted from 2019 to 2022, reportedly ended after Ms Wurm discovered the alleged misuse of her funds, as well as Mr Amini’s extravagant lifestyle choices.

The couple had lived together in Ms Wurm’s luxurious £4.1 million home in the prestigious Grosvenor Crescent Mews, Knightsbridge. However, following their break-up, Ms Wurm revealed that not only had she poured substantial amounts of money into Mr Amini’s business, but he had also allegedly spent her funds on items like luxury clothing, holidays, private jets, and gifts. Among the most notable accusations was the purchase of a £10,000 personalised number plate for a £350,000 Ferrari 812 Superfast that belonged to her mother, Rosemarie Wurm.

In court, Ms Wurm revealed that Mr Amini took off with the Ferrari shortly after their split, grinning as he drove away in the vehicle. She stated, "I was besotted by Kash and was engulfed by his charm offensive... He made me feel special." She went on to express that she and her mother, who had led a simple life, had never before experienced such betrayal from someone they had trusted.

In addition to the Ferrari, Ms Wurm has also accused Mr Amini of misdirecting substantial sums to his brother, Bahador Amini, who allegedly used the money to purchase a £250,000 Bentley Bentayga and a £1.5 million apartment in Chelsea. The luxury spending was highlighted by Ms Wurm's legal team, who said she had “paid for everything” in the relationship, from expensive gifts to personal expenses.

The couple’s business dealings were equally contentious. Ms Wurm claimed she invested £3.2 million in Maslife, in exchange for promises of a shareholding and a position within the company. However, she alleged that the shareholding she received did not match what was agreed, and her role as COO was quickly terminated after their relationship ended.

As her barrister, Andrew Butler KC, explained, Ms Wurm’s investigation into Mr Amini’s personal and business accounts revealed that her money had been "dissipated in a bewildering array of directions," and that Mr Amini had no significant income throughout their relationship. The defence attempted to draw attention to a 2022 interview in which Mr Amini claimed to have cleared £1 million in debts through meditation, but Ms Wurm’s team argued that any such financial recovery was likely the result of misused funds.

In a dramatic turn, Mr Amini and his company were found in contempt of court for failing to provide the required financial disclosures, and in September 2024, a judge barred him from defending the case.

On Friday, the High Court ruled that Mr Amini and Maslife Ltd must pay Ms Wurm £3.86 million, along with any profits derived from the improper use of those funds. The court also ordered that the Ferrari be returned to Ms Wurm’s mother, declaring that it remained her rightful property.

While Mr Amini’s brother, Bahador, denies all allegations, legal proceedings involving him are set to continue at a later date.

This high-profile case underscores the ongoing challenges of managing financial trust in both personal and business relationships, particularly when vast amounts of money and valuable assets are involved.
