Trump Compares Himself to Elvis Presley, Feels Snubbed by UK.

Donald Trump has once again compared himself to Elvis Presley, sharing a side-by-side image of himself next to a young picture of the music legend on his Truth Social account. This isn't the first time Trump has drawn comparisons between himself and famous figures, including Presley, and he's done so multiple times throughout his public career.

Trump’s Elvis Comparison on Truth Social

On Sunday, Trump posted a half-and-half comparison of himself and a young Elvis Presley. The image shows Presley on the left and Trump on the right. Trump captioned the image, "For so many years people have been saying that Elvis and I look alike. Now this pic has been going all over the place. What do you think?" The post was not only shared on Truth Social but also posted on Instagram last year, sparking further public conversation about the similarity between the two.

Trump has frequently made such comparisons, often elevating his image by associating himself with iconic figures. In the past, he's compared himself to other notable people like Frank Sinatra, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and even Jesus Christ, showcasing his tendency to position himself among cultural and historical giants.

Trump’s Mugshot and Elvis Comparison

Trump’s infamous mugshot from his August 2023 arrest also received significant attention. . Trump previously claimed that his mugshot was the “best” one ever taken, even comparing it to iconic police photos of Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. He remarked, “Since this has happened, the mugshot, the mugshot, is the best. It just beat Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra by a lot, by the way, beat ’em by a lot. But that’s the number one mug shot of all time.”

This self-aggrandizing attitude fits into Trump’s broader public persona, where he frequently uses social media to draw attention to his image.

Diplomatic Tensions: Trump’s Reported Snub by the UK

While Trump continues to promote his image on social media, reports also suggest that he has been feeling "less special" after King Charles III's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump reportedly felt slighted after learning that Zelensky met with the King shortly after Trump received an invitation to London.

Sources close to Trump suggested that he was upset by the meeting, believing that any world leader could have received an invitation to Sandringham, especially since Zelensky, whom Trump felt should not have been invited before him, was the first to meet with the King.

However, UK officials dismissed these reports. They clarified that King Charles III made his own decisions about whom to meet, and Zelensky’s meeting had been planned well in advance, unrelated to any prior encounter between Trump and the British royal family. A well-placed source explained, “Things definitely went a bit cool in Washington after Sandringham,” but UK officials maintained that the meeting with Zelensky had been in the works for some time.

Positive Communication Despite Tensions

Despite the reported coldness, a phone conversation between Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Trump followed, marked by "positive engagement." A source noted that Trump prefers direct communication, often opting to call the Prime Minister directly on his mobile.

Donald Trump’s self-comparisons to Elvis Presley and other icons continue to be a central part of his public image, blending self-promotion with a desire to align himself with historical figures. His comments about the mugshot further emphasize his focus on image and legacy.

At the same time, reports of Trump feeling “less special” after King Charles met with Zelensky provide insight into his diplomatic sensitivities. While UK officials have denied any diplomatic tensions, Trump’s reactions highlight his personal interpretation of events and how he perceives his global status. As he continues to navigate his post-presidency public life, Trump’s public persona remains in the spotlight—whether through social media posts or diplomatic engagements.
