DEC 2018 134 www. lawyer-monthly .com Legal LIFESTYLE When speaking to the Managing Director at Wyboston Lakes Resort, Steve Jones, we asked what people benefit most from staying at the Resort; confidently, he responded: “Genuine care and a commitment to world class hospitality. We recognise that while our facilities are important, they count for nothing without passionate service staff to support them”. If you like to mix business with pleasure, the first selling point will be the golf course at the Resort; if you aren’t an avid golf player, fear not, as you can watch the game sitting by the lake, sipping on an Old Fashioned. The Waterfront Hotel Wyboston Lakes Resort has so much to offer … great golf, an exceptional spa, wonderful walks, fishing for those who like to catch a few and great home cooked food in The Waterfront Restaurant & Grill. The Waterfront Hotel, Spa & Golf has been awarded an AA 4-star hotel rating and an AA One Rosette rating for hotel food. With each room at the Waterfront decorated with style, decked out with a 21” flatscreen, and a queen size bed you can melt in, you need strong motivation to leave the room. Perhaps the mouth-watering food at The Waterfront Restaurant & Bar can convince you to leave your room. Featuring traditional English dishes and modern European classic dishes, their menu will leave you overwhelmed with choice and the view of the lake will make you feel like you are so far away from home. A scenic, calming atmosphere to wind down for the day: perfect. Aside from the warm welcomes and cosy atmosphere, Wyboston's pearl is their rejuvenating spa. Their outdoor, heated Hydrotherapy Pool with soothing jacuzzi jets is enough to relax those aching muscles; but I would recommend opting for a relaxing massage for the full experience. Head down to the Big Sleep room or ChillLounge to rest your eyes, (because you have had such a hard day trying to relax), or, if you wish to tantalise all of your senses, crack open some of the Y Spa’s signature Bottega Gold Prosecco at the Spa’s café. The thermal spa is set to stimulate your circulation and aid your body to eliminate toxins; froma ‘Some Like it Hot’ sauna to a ‘Softy’ sauna, there are even facilities for the winter lovers too, with their Glacier Shower and Frost Wall. The Y Spa’s philosophy is all about health, wellness and rejuvenation and they stick to it tremendously well. There is an onsite gym for those who love to pump some iron, or alternatively, take a stroll around the Resort and the Lakes; you hardly can believe it is near one of the busiest junctions in the South as the Lakes and Wyboston Resort itself, detach you from the outside world. It is your local holiday home, where you can escape for the weekend and indulge in all the luxuries your busy, everyday schedule disallows. With the gardens hosting BBQs and the Lakes’ Cinema experience giving you the opportunity to float in a rubber ring on the Lakes whilst watching movies (of course, Jaws is the most appropriate), you are sure to have an enjoyable, unique experience at the Resort, making new memories and possibly friends. The Resort also hosts parties and weddings, which is again perfect for guests who may have one too many tipples, as your warm bed will not be too far a trek away! - AS A PLACE FOR PLEASURE -
