The Municipality of Guayaquil and Consortium Urvaseo signed the contract for the collection of garbage, sweeping and cleaning of city roads earlier this year. The winning proposal amounts to USD 402 072 439.15 and a value per metric ton of USD 35.34, with an execution period of 2737 days.
