23 FEB 2020 | WWW.LAWYER-MONTHLY.COM Lawyer Moves Recent Appointments Global law firm Hogan Lovells announced that Michael DeLarco has been named Office Managing Partner and Lisa Fried has been named Office Administrative Partner for the firm's New York office effective 1 January 2020. DeLarco, who became a partner in 2012, heads the firm's Labour and Employment practice in the Americas. He represents employers, management, and boards of directors in complex labour and employment litigation and internal investigations, and advises on labour and employment issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transfers, workforce restructurings, and workplace policies. Fried, who became a partner in 2013, primarily represents financial institutions in litigation and investigations and before regulators. She frequently represents global banks in cross-border matters and domestic financial institutions in litigation relating to their consumer-lending practices. They succeed Ollie Armas and Chris Donoho who had been in their roles since 2015. Armas and Donoho have played an integral part in expanding our business, recruiting talent, building a wellness program for the office, and leading the efforts in the New York office move. Armas, a partner in the firm's International Arbitration practice, sits on the firm's National Diversity Committee. Donoho leads the firm's global Business Restructuring and Insolvency practice. Hogan Lovells' New York office maintains a broad commercial practice with significant strengths in financial services and life sciences. We represent clients in complex international disputes and in high-stakes securities litigation, intellectual property disputes, and white-collar issues, among other matters. Hogan Lovells Appoints Michael DeLarco and Lisa Fried to Lead New York Office Clifford Chance announced that Dan Neidle has been appointed as the new London leader of the firm's tax, pensions and employment (TPE) practice for a period of four years, from 1 February 2020. He takes over the role from Chris Davies, who will continue as global practice leader. Dan has been a partner at Clifford Chance since 2008, having joined as a trainee in 1998. He specialises in UK finance and corporate tax, with a particular interest in international tax, supranational taxation and tax policy. His clients include leading financial institutions and corporates, as well as regulators, governments and industry bodies. Dan comments: "I am thrilled to be taking on this role.
