Plastic Omnium’s €520Million Acquisitionof Varroc Lighting Systems About the Deal Paksoy advised Plastic Omnium on its €520 million acquisition of Varroc Lighting Systems, a subsidiary of Varroc Engineering Limited. Paksoy worked with Kinstellar and Linklaters’ Paris office in advising Plastic Omnium, while PwC Legal and Willkie Farr & Gallagher advised Varroc. Varroc Lighting Systems is a Tier-1 manufacturer of automotive lighting systems with over 30,000 people employed across its 137 manufacturing plants and 31 development centres and which boasted sales of approximately €800 million in 2021. Following the acquisition, it will be integrated into Plastic Omnium’s new lighting division, which employs over 7,000 people in its 11 global plants and generated pro forma sales revenue of approximately €1 billion in 2021.
