Optics Bidco is a special purpose vehicle controlled by KKR and has issued 12 series of senior secured notes totalling 5.5 billion euros. The Ministry of Economy and Finance considers this network a strategic asset for Italy leading to a 16% investment. This acquisition was completed with approval from the European Antitrust Authority.
